Trust in Jesus

Today’s feast celebrates another central mystery of our faith—the mystery of the Eucharist. Like the mystery of the Trinity, the real presence of the Body and Blood of Christ in the Eucharist can never be fully understood, but can only be believed. Just as the Israelites in the desert were invited to put their trust in God’s word to them, we are invited to trust wholly in the word of Jesus.

In today’s Gospel Jesus promises to give us a share in his very own flesh and blood, and a share in eternal life besides. We are called to take him at his word and open our hearts to receive true nourishment and life from our participation in the Eucharist.

Confianza en Jesús

La fiesta de hoy celebra otro misterio central de nuestra fe: el misterio de la Eucaristía. Como el misterio de la Trinidad, la presencia real del Cuerpo y de la Sangre de Cristo en la Eucaristía nunca se puede entender completamente, sino que sólo se puede creer. Así como a los israelitas en el desierto se les invitó a poner su fe en la palabra de Dios dirigida a ellos, a nosotros se nos invita a confiar plenamente en las palabras de Jesús.

En el Evangelio de hoy Jesús promete darnos una porción de su propia carne y sangre, y además compartir la vida eterna. Somos llamados a creer en su palabra y a abrir nuestro corazón para recibir verdadero alimento y vida por nuestra participación en la Eucaristía.

Corpus Christi Procession and Benediction

On Sunday June 7th the Feast Day of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ, you are invited to participate in a procession throughout the Church premises to Honor the Most Blessed Sacrament of the Altar.

(Weather permitting) We will start promptly at 1:00 pm in the church and walk on the Church grounds with prayers and hymns of praise and we will close the event with a benediction in the church.

Procesión y Bendición de Corpus Christi

El domingo 7 de Junio, día de la Fiesta del Santísimo Cuerpo y Sangre de Cristo, están invitados a participar en una procesión por las instalaciones de la iglesia para honrar al Santísimo Sacramento del Altar.

(Si el tiempo lo permite) Comenzaremos puntualmente a las 1:00 pm en la Iglesia y caminaremos por los terrenos de la Iglesia con oraciones e himnos de alabanza y cerraremos el evento con una bendición en la iglesia.

2026 Collection to Aid the Church in Central and Eastern Europe

The Second Collection this weekend is for the Church in Central and Eastern Europe. This Collection supports essential unmet pastoral needs in Central and Eastern Europe and areas of Asia formerly under Soviet control. Our assistance is vital to the growth and strength of the Church in these regions.

2026 Colecta de Ayuda para la Iglesia Católica en Europa Central y Oriental

La Segunda Colecta de este fin de semana es para la Iglesia en Europa Central y Oriental. Esta colecta financia las necesidades pastorales básicas que no han sido satisfechas en Europa Central y Oriental, y en áreas de Asia que antiguamente estaban bajo el control soviético. Nuestra asistencia es fundamental para el crecimiento y la solidez de la Iglesia en estas regiones.

Father’s Day Novena

June 21st is Father's Day. The day set aside to honor all fathers, both living and deceased.

A special novena of Masses will be offered. Cards are available at each door of the Church. In order to enroll your father’s name, please complete the envelope and drop it in the collection basket or at the rectory office.

Novena del día del Padre

Junio 21 es el día del Padre. Es el día destinado a honrar todos los padres, vivos y muertos.

Una novena especial de Misas será ofrecida. Las tarjetas están disponibles en cada puerta de la Iglesia. Para incluir el nombre de sus padres por favor complete el sobre y deposítelo en la colecta o hágalo llegar a las oficinas de la Iglesia.
